MY HATRED OF POSTAL SERVICES

So a few months ago, beginning of march, I decided to send a package to my dear friend

for his bday.

Not much, just some copics markers and liners, candy, some drawings and a keychain I made, a total of 1KG (0.5lbs).

The value wasn't over 50 €($65) for sure and the shipping around 25 € ($32) (I don't remember well).

Turns out in april TheDamn-ThinGuy still hadn't received it when I was told it would have taken only 10 days, 2 weeks tops to get there.

SO I call the postal services (aka 30 minutes of overpriced call, not refunded of course) where they tell me that the package is declared LOST and that they will refund me the shipping and 57€ ($73)/kg (coz that's standard procedure apparently) WHETHER HE RECEIVES IT OR NOT because it's been over 30 days that the package wasn't received.

To do so I was to receive some papers from them where I'd have the instructions to be refunded, papers to send back etc. Never got them.

Today I receive a paper telling me that I have a package waiting for me... AND GUESS WHAT IT WAS.

Yep.

The package.

BUT WAIT.

THAT'S NOT ALL.

TURNS OUT IT DID ARRIVE IN BRAZIL BUT GOT STUCK AT THE CUSTOMS AND SENT BACK.

AND WE'RE NOT EVEN DONE YET.

I HAVE TO PAY

25 €

TO GET IT BACK.

AND I CAN FORGET OF BEING REFUNDED COZ WELL IT AIN'T LOST NO MORE.

I HAVE 2 WEEKS, BY THEN IT WILL BE DESTROYED.

THE CHICK AT THE POST OFFICE WAS LIKE "young lad calm down and think about it" BITCH SRSLY YOUR DAMN POST SERVICE DIDN'T GIVE ME MY MONEY AND I DON'T HAVE THAT MONEY TO SPARE, I NEED MONEY TO EAT.

you know what's worst? I know that I'll end up paying the custom fine thing coz I don't want those douches to "destroy" (my ass, they'll make everything disappear in their pockets) the package.

This really doesn't help my depression and all, it just makes me wanna cry all day and stay in bed. Fuck this shit.

Gone from the 11th till the 22th

So I'll be gone from the 11th till the 22th of May.

I'll be at my parents and will be helping my mom and dad with the house tasks and all, seeing as my mom is having some health issues atm and will have to go through surgery on the 14th.

Hopefully I'll have some time to work on commissions and pop up once in a while on dA.
